IL SOLE BUIO / L'ANGELO CON LA PISTOLA

Beat Records è lieta di pubblicare per la prima volta assoluta le colonne sonore di Riz Ortolani per due drammatici film noir di Damiano Damiani. Questo CD della durata totale di 77:38 deriva dai master stereo delle sessioni di registrazione. “Il sole buio” diretto nel 1989 da Damiano Damiani e interpretato da Michael Paré, Jo Champa, Tano Cimarosa, Antonio Chiello, Cyrus Elias, Erland Josephson, Phyllis Logan, Salvatore Palma, Leopoldo Trieste, Sal Borgese, Luciano Catenacci. Riz Ortolani ha composto un ricorrente tema orchestrale di sapore mediterraneo che viene introdotto nei Titoli di testa e ripreso nella OST e un delicato tema d’amore per i due protagonisti che emerge in un’atmosfera di mistero, una banda come sottofondo ad un funerale musica ballabile. “L’angelo con la pistola” diretto nel 1991 da Damiano Damiani e interpretato da Tahnee Welch, Remo Girone, Eva Grimaldi, Nicola D'Eramo, Sergio Fiorentini, Mario Donatone, Franco Scaccia, Antonino Iuorio, Jean Hebert. Riz Ortolani ha scritto un tema dark introdotto nei Titoli di testa e ripreso nei Titoli di coda eseguito in elettronica apre la OST con un passaggio di archi a strappo sullo stile di quelli di “Zeder” di Pupi Avati sempre musicato dall’autore. Nella OST si alternano brani ballabili a momenti malinconici ad altri di  tensione Un altro CD che vuole sinceramente omaggiare l’Arte musicale di Riz Ortolani.

This CD with a total lenght of  77:38 comes from the stereo master tapes of the recording sessions. “Il sole buio” directed in 1989 by Damiano Damiani and starring Michael Paré, Jo Champa, Tano Cimarosa, Antonio Chiello, Cyrus Elias, Erland Josephson, Phyllis Logan, Salvatore Palma, Leopoldo Trieste, Sal Borgese, Luciano Catenacci. Riz Ortolani has composed a recurring orchestral theme with a Mediterranean flavor which is introduced in the opening credits and reprised in the OST and a delicate love theme for the two protagonists that emerges in an atmosphere of mystery, a musical band in the background at a funeral danceable music . “L’angelo con la pistola” directed in 1991 by Damiano Damiani and starring Tahnee Welch, Remo Girone, Eva Grimaldi, Nicola D'Eramo, Sergio Fiorentini, Mario Donatone, Franco Scaccia, Antonino Iuorio, Jean Hebert. Riz Ortolani has written a dark theme introduced in the opening credits and reprised in the closing credits performed electronically opens the OST with a passage of strings in the style of those of "Zeder" by Pupi Avati always set to music by the author.
