This is a memorial music collection commemorating the 50th anniversary of the TV animation "HEIDI, A GIRL OF THE ALPS" broadcast in 1974.

Theme songs, insert songs and BGM are compiled on 3 CDs.

This definitive edition also includes unreleased BGM that is being released for the first time, sounds of folk instruments recorded in Switzerland, yodeling songs, Mozart songs recorded as extra music, and hand-cranked organ music.

DISC 1 includes the theme song and insert songs and their variations, locally recorded sound sources, and extra music.

DISC2 and DISC3 contain original BGM used in the film, structured according to the flow of the story.

The booklet includes Takeo Watanabe's comments, music commentary, and music list.
